The only thing that Dr. Atassi loves more than doing dentistry is learning about dentistry. Dr. Atassi’s thirst for learning and advancement is evidenced by his thousands of hours of continuing education. In 2013, his passion for cosmetic dentistry led him to undergo a two-year residency program at the UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry, a program directed by world-renowned prosthodontist Dr. Ed McLaren. Dr. Atassi’s training at UCLA was focused on smile design and full mouth reconstruction. He received his certificate in Advanced Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry in 2015.
In 2019, Dr. Atassi completed the Global Institute of Dental Education (gIDE) Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry, a 1 year evidence-based, post-graduate certificate program focusing on placing and restoring dental implants, taught by a faculty of world-renowned implant experts.
Dr. Atassi is currently on-track to complete the Kois Center for Restorative Excellence Program in Seattle, Washington, an advanced graduate didactic and clinical program for practicing dentists that uses a comprehensive curriculum featuring the latest advances in aesthetic, implant, and restorative dentistry.

When Dr. Atassi moved to Lakeshore East in 2016, he landed on an opportunity to open his dream office. After several months of planning and construction, Chicago Dental Boutique opened its doors in December of 2017. Dr. Atassi’s vision for Chicago Dental Boutique was to build a space equipped with the top-of-the-line technology so he and other providers could deliver the best treatment while maintaining patient comfort. Dr. Atassi’s incredible attention to detail allows him to carry out his goal as a dentist, which is to help his patients create beautiful, healthy smiles.

Dr. Atassi has been married to Samia for five years. Since its opening, Samia has taken on the managerial role at Chicago Dental Boutique. They currently live in LakeShore East with their baby boy, Dean, who was born in March 2022. Dean spends most of his time visiting mom and dad at the office!
In 2015, Dr. Atassi became a member of the UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry Faculty, where he taught a course on “Clinical Skills” for the post-graduate Esthetic Dentistry Residency program. In August 2022, Dr. Atassi returned to UCLA to deliver the Alumni speech at the Esthetic Dentistry graduation ceremony.
Dr. Atassi cares deeply about giving back to the global community. One of the organizations he supports is Operation Smile, a charity that provides free surgeries for children around the world born with dental and facial conditions such as cleft palate.
Dr. Atassi enjoys giving back not just in donations, but he also volunteers at refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon to provide emergency dental care to Syrian refugees through the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS).
